Dennis served in the Royal Air Force as a National Serviceman from 1953-55.
Prior to National Service, he served an apprenticeship in mechanical and production engineering whilst studying at Northampton Polytechnic, London.
He completed his basic training at RAF Hednesford in Staffordshire, and was then posted to RAF Tangmere in Sussex where he worked as a fitter in the Station Workshops.
Now semi-retired, he teaches, writes and publishes poetry.
He walks, gardens, and plays snooker with friends & family for relaxation. 'Service days' is his 7th poetry collection.

It is his 5th collection of poetry. Three of Dennis' poems have recently been published in 'The Second Genesis', an anthology of contemporary world poetry.

Dennis, who is of Welsh parentage, lives in East Finchley where he publishes N2 Poetry Magazine, and is Tutor for The East Finchley Poetry Writing Workshops.

He is available for readings.
