Arts Depot |
||
| A regional centre for North London and facilities for the local area of Finchley. | ||
|
Opened in 2004 to provide a high quality
large performance space in an extensive area which had lost many church halls,
large cinemas and other facilities over the previous years. |
||
| As a
regional centre it presents top quality touring theatre, dance, comedy, word
and music performers, many of them supported by the Arts Council of Great
Britain and other trusts. Childrens theatre shows are at noon and 3pm most Sundays and throughout holiday weeks. Amateur and local groups supplement the programme with hires, and there are clubs and classes for all ages in purpose built studios. Many local schools and organisations are involved in ongoing projects, including those catering for disabled and disadvantaged groups from across the Borough. |
