2010 in High Barnet
Eight Guided Walks

With Paul Baker, City of London guide

I’m starting the tours this year with a Battle of Barnet walk on Sunday Sunday January 24th at 11am.
We’re meeting at the usual place – the junction of the Great North Rd and Hadley Green Rd, by the old Cyma Garage and Pizza Express.
That’s followed by a walk in two parts on February 7th and 14th High Barnet and Monken Hadley.
These walks all cost £7.

On Sunday January 31st I’m doing a free walk for ‘Walk London’.
It’s from River Walkway outside City Hall (tube: London Bridge) to the Tate Modern, crossing two bridges and walking through the Square Mile: a marvellous route (they chose it).
It’s part of the Jubilee Walkway, and I’ll be doing it at 10.30am and again at 2.30pm. It should last about two and a half hours.

Do come if you can make it, and bring friends along. It’s completely free and open to all.

Looking a long way ahead, our slightly revised Xmas plans have enabled me to add a Christmas walk with a special Christmassy flavour!
I hope to see you before then.
