One of London's leading independent cinemas and one of the
oldest cinemas in the UK.
Behind its modern foyer lies an historic

We Need Your

Your Memories
and Your Time!
Do you have fond memories of The Phoenix
in East Finchley?
Perhaps you remember it when it was The Rex or The
Coliseum?
Perhaps you went there on your first date with your husband or
wife?
Or do you remember being taken there as a child?
Maybe your
memories are more recent?
Whatever your memories, we want to hear from you.
This year The Phoenix is 100
years old and as part of our celebrations we want to film people's memories of
the cinema.
Some of the memories will then appear on the Pheonix website
and on the cinema's big screen!
We are also looking for volunteers to help
us film and interview people about their memories, introduce films at
screenings and lead tours.
If you have some time to spare, memories to share or just want to know more, please get in touch!
